Have you just made the jump from an internal combustion engine vehicle to a EV and would like to be able to charge it up at home or at the workplace, well then do get in touch! We have been installing EV charge-points for over 5 years now and have worked with a wide variety of EV charge-points such as Myenergi Zappi, Ohme, Wallbox, Anderson, Hypervolt, ICS, Tesla.

There is a variety of EV charge-points on the market, and it can be quite daunting process of deciding which one to choose. However, we can make this process of deciding which EV charge-point is good for you by simply asking a few questions such as:

• Would you like your new EV charge-point to integrate with a solar system to be able to divert excess solar energy into the EV therefore driving on sunshine.
• Which EV do you have or are you purchasing, all new EV’s should now be type 2 (plug type) but it is worth double checking.  
• Would you prefer for a ‘dumb’ EV charge-point to be installed where no app is required, no smart integration within a solar system is required.
• Is aesthetics quite important for your installation, if so we could recommend a few smarter or more discrete looking chargers that you like the look of.
• Do you want to be able to monitor each Charge-point individually to be able to pass on the costs to selected individuals, and if so you would need a MID approved kWh meter. And how will reimbursement work.
• Is your EV charge-point OZEV approved as there is a requirement when claiming a grant that the warranty will have to be at least 3 years on the EV charge-point.
